philabundance

For this project, I worked alongside a team of other Advertising students to create an awareness and donation campaign for a local nonprofit, as well as a new logo and tagline. Philabundance’s school hunger relief program, Lil’Abundance, supplies elementary schoolers across Philadelphia with backpacks containing nutritious food. Our focus for this campaign was the fact that childhood hunger is more than the usual images we associate it with: emaciated kids in countries far away. We tend to forget that our own communities are not immune to the plague of childhood hunger, which hides in plain sight all around us. Ultimately, this campaign is intended to remind the viewer that while hunger is right around the corner, so is help.

thank you to Michelle Teresiak, Rebecca Neckritz, Brooke Melicharek, and Tyreke Young for their respective contributions on the art direction, copywriting, and brand strategy on this campaign.
